Understand the evidence behind the explanation.
A useful source tells you what was studied and what the findings can explain. It also has limits. Explore the sources used for our learning content, and see how we distinguish general nutrition information from product-specific evidence.
A source should answer the question being asked.
A study of a nutrient, a specific ingredient, and a finished product can answer different questions. We aim to keep that distinction visible. General physiological evidence does not establish the clinical outcome of a specific commercial supplement.

Magnesium Matters: A Comprehensive Review of Its Vital Role in Health and Diseases
Fatima G, et al.
Explores magnesium biochemistry, normal muscle/nerve/energy roles, and research history across multiple health topics.
This is a narrative review, not a PinkVita clinical trial, and does not establish that a finished PinkVita product treats any condition or provides a personal dose.
Magnesium Fact Sheet for Health Professionals
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Dietary Supplements
Distinguishes the amount of elemental magnesium from the compound weight; outlines physiological functions and interaction boundaries.
US reference intakes are population reference standards, not an individualized supplement prescription for an Indian adult.
Magnesium Fact Sheet for Consumers
National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Dietary Supplements
Overview of everyday foods containing magnesium (beans, nuts, seeds, whole grains, greens) and the importance of professional advice regarding medicines.
Does not provide personal clinical advice or determine an individual need for supplementation.
Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate Ingredient Documentation
Balchem Human Nutrition & Health
Explains the terminology of bisglycinate (magnesium bound with two glycine amino acid units) and chelation concepts.
Supplier literature does not prove PinkVita has obtained this grade or establish finished-product clinical efficacy.
Advertising and Claims Regulations Compendium
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)
Governs truth in nutrition claims in India, distinguishing established nutrient functions from unapproved disease claims.
Does not replace independent product-licence verification for a specific finished formulation.
Ingredient and nutrition glossary
Magnesium
A mineral involved in normal body functions.
Elemental magnesium
The magnesium itself, separate from the total weight of the compound containing it.
Glycine
An amino acid. It is part of the name magnesium bisglycinate.
Bisglycinate
A name referring to magnesium associated with two glycine units.
Chelate
A mineral bound to another molecule in a particular arrangement.
Bioavailability
How much of a substance becomes available for the body to use. A claim about it needs evidence for the form and context being discussed.
Serving
The stated quantity to which product information refers.
Evidence
Information used to support an explanation or claim. The kind of evidence and what it studied matter.
Deficiency
An inadequate level of a nutrient in the body. A website check-in cannot establish it.
Recommended intake
A reference for planning nutrition in a defined population. It is not automatically the right supplement dose for an individual.
Common questions about evidence
Does a scientific paper prove that this PinkVita product works?
Research about magnesium can explain a nutrient's role. Evidence about a finished product is a separate question. We distinguish the two when presenting information.
