Know what to look for.
Clear product information makes a supplement easier to evaluate. These are useful details to check before making a choice.
What is the ingredient?
Look for the exact form and a complete ingredient list rather than a general mineral name.
Different chemical forms (like bisglycinate vs. oxide) behave differently. A transparent brand specifies the exact salt or chelate and lists all other excipients and additives.
What amount does the label describe?
Check the elemental amount and the serving it refers to.
A label stating "1000 mg Magnesium Bisglycinate" does not mean 1000 mg of magnesium. Look for the elemental magnesium quantity and check whether that amount refers to one tablet, two capsules, or a daily serving.
What evidence is available?
Read the scope, date, and relevance of any document. A company registration and a product test establish different things.
An incorporation certificate shows legal existence; it does not prove product efficacy, purity, or safety. Similarly, ingredient research on raw materials does not automatically prove clinical outcomes for a finished formulation.
Who can answer a product question?
Ask the brand for the product information you need. Take personal suitability questions to a qualified health professional.
A responsible brand provides batch transparency, ingredient provenance, and clear label directions. For questions about your personal health, medications, or specific symptoms, consult a qualified healthcare provider.
Product documents, when available.
Any product document we share should identify what it covers, who issued it and when it was issued. A company registration, an ingredient paper and a batch test answer different questions. Ask us if you need help understanding a particular document.
